People are often surprised when Pathways for Veterans founder Gary Ferguson suggests that everyone has some form of post-traumatic stress in their lives.

He quickly qualifies that remark by stating, “We have all lost loved ones, careers, or relationships, and for that matter, anything that we continue to think about with regret long after the event has passed.”

Today it is fashionable to say ‘live in the moment, be mindful.' But that is not what most people do. Their lives are a constant barrage of things to do with problems to solve. Then add in the stress of an unconscious image that triggers an old emotionally laden experience and you have a typical day in the lives of most Americans. If I had only done this or said that things would be different. The next thing they know they’re buried in a struggle to escape the deep suffering that accompanies these negative memories.

Now imagine it’s not a lost loved one or missed business opportunity that’s troubling you, it’s your buddy who got out of the Humvee ahead of you just in time to shield you from the blast.

He’s lost his legs and all you got was a severe concussion with youthful good looks still intact.

Every time you look in the mirror you wonder, "W
hy him and not me?"

Every time a loud noise startles it makes you want to go to ground.

It’s all emotional baggage, and the weight of that can make one’s life and relationships unmanageable.

Since 2010, Pathways for Veterans, a national nonprofit 501(c3), has provided their At Ease Reset Listening Protocols, along with experiential learning seminars and transitioning life coaching to veterans and their families from their At Ease Reset Research Center in Northern California.

Now, thanks to Harry Massey and the team at NES Health, our veterans can have direct access to NES Health protocols through newly created partnerships with NES Health practitioners.

Pathways is reaching out to existing NES Health Practitioners who would like to participate in the upcoming clinical trials starting in January of 2017.

  • If you are an existing NES practitioner who is interested in working with our veterans, please visit our website at www.PathwaysForVeterans.org and submit your application to be part of these clinical trials.

Gary’s personal experience at this year’s NES Health annual conference left him with a profound impact at the level of “soul” understanding.

By including NES Health protocols in the Pathways programs, veterans will experience healing
while being in vibrational harmony with the “field."

The most frequently asked question at Pathways is how the team is able to produce such extraordinary results in such a short period of time?

The answer is quite simple, according to Gary who states:

“We listen without our opinions, so that the veteran has the experience of being heard, often for the first time. People usually think that listening requires conversation. Nothing could be further from the truth. Authentic listening only requires an acknowledgement from the listener. When someone talks about healing the body, mind, and spirit, they should understand that real spiritual strength is realized, slowly, by daring to detect and drop those negative belief systems that we allow to define us. Bad things do happen to good people and when the negative experience comes with physical trauma, be it in combat or a car accident, it’s driven deeper into our soul.”

There is never any benefit to negative self-talk.

Gary further shares that when someone suffers a divorce it’s usually not accompanied by an exploding grenade, even though it can feel that way.

In fact, like many veterans, without help some people may never fully recover.

Obviously the barriers to letting go of these negative belief systems can be significant and you are never sure how or where these breakthroughs will come.

One of the
biggest challenges to ending these negative belief systems is overcoming that internal conversation that we all have going on all the time.

That chatter can be very unkind and destructive when its components are negative.

A civilian example would be someone who is filled with self-loathing because of their own procrastination.

Gary believes, “Our problems are due to faulty thought patterns in our minds; The only true form of reality is to change our hearts and mind. Once that has occurred we will gravitate back to our authentic self in relationship with our Creator and our natural state of health, wealth and happiness.”

The Pathways team has been serving our veteran community over the past seven years and is privately funded.

Their new At Ease Reset Research Center in Northern California is now providing direct access to our programs to NES practitioners who wish to apply and be trained to work with veterans.
