Whether your New Year’s resolutions include increasing your energy level, losing weight, or improving specific aspects of your physical health and emotional balance, bioenergetic solutions are here to help.
Just like the New Year, the Water element in Chinese Medicine symbolizes new beginnings in the cycle of life. It dominates the Winter season, a time for stillness, purification, and regeneration.
The primary organs associated with the Water element are bladder and kidneys. While the bladder acts as a reservoir for collecting fluids for elimination, the kidneys are in charge of providing us with strength, power, and energy resources.
Imbalances in the Water element can lead to a variety of health issues, to include low-back pain; weakness and/or pain in the hips, knees, and ankles; problems with urinary functions; sexual problems; elevated blood pressure; emotional imbalances, especially fear, anxiety, and depression; dizziness; teeth and gum problems; issues with the nervous system; and a general lack of energy.
Meridian Pathways and Energetic Rejuvenators
The acupuncture meridians associated with the Water element are Bladder (yang) and Kidney (yin). In Chinese Medicine, Bladder meridian governs the nervous system; Kidney meridian governs bodily fluids, tissues, reproduction, and also the Psoas muscle, sometimes called the Muscle of the Soul. Bladder and Kidney meridians map to Energetic Integrators EI-5 and EI-6, respectively. Their pathways, along with the Energetic Rejuvenators (ERs) they support, are shown below.

Bladder meridian travels down the backside of the body along the spine. A subset of Bladder meridian points located on either side of the spine is known as Back Shu points in Chinese Medicine.
There is a left-side/right-side pair of these special points corresponding to each of the twelve main meridians. They are mostly used to address chronic health conditions related to energetic imbalances (typically deficiencies) in the respective meridians.
Associated Energy Fields
The next set of pictures shows the various fields related to EI-5 and EI-6, highlighting the important roles that these integrators play in achieving and maintaining overall health and well-being.
EI-5 regulates the lymphatic system, which is responsible for draining fluids and removing waste products from the body. The lymphatic system, in turn, is a vital part of the immune system, which tends to be particularly challenged during the flu season.
EI-6 has connections to the Midbrain and the Medulla Oblongata. Based on Peter Fraser’s research, the Midbrain (the heart of the cranial cavity) is bioenergetically linked to the heart of the thoracic cavity. He also found that all twelve compartments (EI-1 through EI-12) go to a part of the Medulla Oblongata. Aggressive emotions and learned fears are said to be stored in this area of the brain, providing scientific backing for fear being the primary stress emotion of the Water element.

Brain Hologram Associations
Almost all of the ERs on the Water-element EIs have an association with one or more of the Brain Holograms. Specific keynotes are shown in the Mind-Screen pictures below.

Chakra Associations
The Water element is also related to the second chakra, whose keynote is Will Power. As noted in the ProVision Help File, this energy center relates to the energy fields of the urinary, renal systems, and all brain tissues. Physically it is linked with the cerebrospinal fluid. Imbalances in the sacral chakra can manifest as physical/emotional/mental exhaustion and feelings of fear and hopelessness.

Using NES to Balance the Water Element
The NES Health system provides numerous options for balancing the Water element. The ProVision scan will identify specific infoceuticals needed to support the Water element, such as Source, Nerve, and Kidney Drivers, Integrators 5 and 6, and applicable Brain Holograms. From the Feel-Good range of infoceuticals, ESR and Chill may be indicated to calm the nervous system and manage feelings of fear and anxiety, while Source can help to enhance the availability of source energy in general.
The NES miHealth device can be used in many different ways, to include the following:
For further emotional support, use the affirmations suggested in the ProVision Help Files to address priority ERs in the Brain Holograms or other complementary modalities.
Additional techniques for supporting balance in the Water element can be found in earlier Blog Posts on the psoas muscle (2/2/16) and working with elemental neurovascular reflex points (3/8/16).

The NES miHealth device can be used in many different ways, to include the following:
- Tracing along Bladder and Kidney meridian pathways, using settings such as BioCell or Physical Rejuvenation
- Addressing priority ERs associated with EI-5 and EI-6 identified on the ProVision Energy Screen and/or based on specific symptoms
- Addressing priority ERs identified in the ProVision Brain Holograms
- Spinal Scrub, using Matrix Carrier/BioCell settings to support the nervous system and balance/rejuvenate Bladder meridian as well as all other meridians through the Back Shu points
- Lymphatic Drainage Protocol (see Blog Post of 1/19/16 for details)
- Using the Will Power setting in the Transformation Folder to balance the second chakra; if time permits, running the 27-minute Transformation Cycle to balance and harmonize all seven main chakras.
